Flow
The Flow tab in the top toolbar helps you visualize the patient’s status in real-time.
FOR THE CLIENT SELF-CHECK-IN TO SHOW, ENABLE THE FEATURE FLAG IN Admin.
To advance the patient through each stage of the clinic visit:
update the appointment status from the Schedule screen
click the next step located in the bottom right corner of each appointment from the Flow screen
or drag and drop the appointment from one column to the next from the Flow screen
IF AN APPOINTMENT IS MARKED AS No Show OR Cancelled, THE APPOINTMENT IS REMOVED FROM THE Flow SCREEN.
Various points of progress listed may differ from organization to organization.
This feature is managed by your organization under the Admin section.
Some possible points of progress are:
Awaiting: scheduled appointments. If many appointments are scheduled, this shows the following patients. This column reflects appointments planned for the next ninety minutes.
Checked-In: appointments that are checked in but have not been started
In Progress: started appointments.
Hospitalized: patients that have been admitted for inpatient or outpatient care
To Admit a patient to the hospital, select Admit from the In Progress section.
Checking Out: patients with finalized invoices awaiting payment
Completed: lists all the patients with paid invoices seen in a day.
Cards on the Flow page may contain Flow Triggers. These are indicators that a specific action may need to be taken. Hover over the Trigger to see more information.
